Design for stained glass window opposite chancel, Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, Hingham, Mass. // INSCRIPTIONS: [left panel top:] Great and marvellous are thy works Lord God Almighty / Just and true are thy ways[left panel bottom:] He shall show forth that which he hath learned, and shall glory in the law of the covenant of the Lord / [middle left panel top:] This is the victory that overcometh the world even our faith / [bottom center main panel:] her ways are ways of gentlness [sic] and there be kindness and meekness and comfort in her tongue / [middle right main panel, top:] Happy is he whose hope is in the Lord / [right main panel, top] Veritas / When he the spirit of truth shall come he shall guide you into all truth / [on pages of book:] And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free / [bottom of right main panel] The law of truth was in his mouth / and iniquity was not found in his lips / he walked with me in peace and equity / / [memorial dedication, bottom of 3 middle panels:] In memory of / Born July 3 1833 .
