Description
Located in Khayriyatabad area, this mansion belonged to a Portuguese official James da Costa, (d.1904), working for Sir Khurshid Jah in 1870s. He was an artist also having painted for Salar Jang I. His European-styled mansion with striking resemblance to the British Residency in Hyderabad survives as a wedding hall, now hidden away in new construction. It was called St. James Park, and the designer was the owner-artist himself.
