Collection scope and contents:
This collection documents the MIT community's experiences, reactions, and responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. The collection contains personal accounts, student papers, and photographs and other visual materials.
The MIT Libraries' Department of Distinctive Collections began a COVID-19 collecting initiative in May 2020 to document how the MIT community was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. All members of the MIT community (students, staff, faculty, researchers, alumni, and others) were invited to contribute materials documenting their experiences, reactions, and responses.
