View of the entry; Designed in a neo-Russian or neo-Slavic style. Vasnetsov was a painter, designer and graphic artist. He played a leading role in the evolution of Russian art from 19th-century realism towards Art Nouveau with a national historical slant. His house, built to his design in 1894, was turned into the V.
