1969-1975Description
View of the south tower, looking up; Commissioned by Alcoa, the towers were completed in 1975 and designed by Minoru Yamasaki. The towers resemble his World Trade Center in their vertical black and gray lines and use of aluminum exteriors. The towers have a somewhat unique (equilateral) triangular footprint and are landmarks that are clearly seen around the Los Angeles Westside.
