Neel's molecular field model of ferrimagnetism is reviewed and it is shown how the magnetization below the Curie point can be calculated as a function of temperature using susceptibility data obtained above the Curie temperature. While neither Neel's fundamental concepts nor his conclusions have been altered, his methods have been modified in order to obtain a clearer understanding of his results.en_US
