An edition of 100 sheets. The etching was based on the 1964 Fountain drawing and the 1964 book cover. This etching by Duchamp after the Stieglitz photograph of the original Fountain represents the cover of the catalog, Mirrorical Returm, 1964. -- From Camfield, William A. Above the line drawing of Fountain, the artist writes "an original revolutionary faucet / 'mirrorical return'"; and below it, "a faucet which stops running when we're not listening". The printing process uses white ink on a black ground. The embossed cover design is based onthe 1964 Fountain drawing by Duchamp.
