painted wood frame and eight panes of glass covered with black leather. Scaled-down version of a french window that was constructed by a carpenter in accordance with Duchamp's instructions. He covered the panes of glass with leather and insisted that they be shined every day like shoes. This is the first work that he signed by Rrose Selavy.
