Article from the Illustrated London News about the national fete held at the Place de la Concorde on the Champs-Elysées (Paris, France) on August 15, 1852. The accompanying illustration shows a fireworks display and a balloon ascended. The "new equestrian statue" of the Emperor is in the center of the image.
