Page with ten images. A large illustration in the upper left shows large group of primitive people with clubs, looking and pointing at the sky where are floating the original Montgolfier balloon and the figures of Greek goddesses (possibly Athena, Venus and Hera). Five smaller images show mechanical devices, a boy wearing large wooden clogs, a woman perched on a bar suspended between two poles, a side view of a woman in a corseted dress with a diagram over her face and the profile of a topless woman behind her.
