Two items: An illustration of T. Bilbrough's plan for guiding balloons, made in response to an apparatus designed by Mr. Green, printed on the front page of The Penny Mechanic of March 6, 1841; a response by Tangar to a proposal for a balloon apparatus, published in Mechanic's Magazine, October 26, 1839.
