Description
Left half of a satirical print showing various modes of travel and industry gaining popularity around 1837 and a group of men looking at and commenting on stock prices related to these inventions. Two large balloons are pictured, and a figure in the foreground holds a sign reading "Steam Balloon to the Comet and back...," a reference to Haley's Comet, which was in view that year. The right side of the print is cut off.
