Description
Robinson Crusoe in outer space, viewing the planets. Tiny figures surround him and the sun and earth orbit below. Caption in French below the image: Vision of the Angelic World. This illustration was the frontispiece for the French version of Daniel Dafoe's "Serious Reflections during the Life and Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe" (1720), the third book in the Robinson Crusoe Trilogy.
