Aerial Advertiser announcement of the first issue of “The Balloon, or Aerostatic Magazine,” edited by Henry Wells [a pseudonym used by Henry Tracey Coxwell (1798-1832)], to be published on August 1, 1847. The advertisement also announces the forthcoming publicity stunt in which "tens of thousands of Aerial Messengers" will distribute information about the publication.
