This collection is comprised of nearly 600 images donated to the MIT Libraries by Felice Frankel, a research scientist at the Center for Materials Science and Engineering and an award-winning photographer. The photographs were taken during Frankel’s early career as a landscape architecture photographer. Many of the sites captured are iconic in the world of built landscape, such as the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial, Hadrian’s Villa, Wave Hill, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection Garden.
