Project area of park with clothesline fountain/installation, concrete pads and colored concrete seating; An art installation project for the City of Quebec by artists BGL (Jasmin Bilodeau, Sébastien Giguère and Nicolas Laverdière) and city landscape architect, Suzanne Hamel. The project sought to integrate art into the life of the community through a work that is visual, aesthetic and playful. Water flows constantly over colorful clothes on four lines; space is provided for play underneath. The water mechanism is integrated inside the posts with nothing mechanical visible on the surface. Other jets are sunk in the surface beneath the work. The trio BGL is composed of Québec artists. They were supported throughout the project implementation process by a technical team from private companies and the City of Québec. Concrete seating and tables were also added as part of the project. Source: Association des architectes paysagistes du Québec [website]; http://aapq.org/ (accessed 8/29/2015)en_US
