The style is "a Meditteranean style village" with the houses built as a single story with the option of going to two stories with the addition of a stair. "Outdoor casitas and private courtyard pools are added to better enjoy the desert lifestyle. Higher ceilings with clerestory windows are included for privacy and to create dynamic indoor spaces." The houses range from 2,249 to 3,317 sq. ft. each. The largest house plan has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. There are 61 houses planned; 33 have been completed (2006-2012). Each home is solar powered by roof mounted solar panels designed to produce up to 60% of the home’s electrical usage.
