Cheminée (Fireplace) with Imperial Arms, artist unknown, ca. 1848-1914, possibly for the decor of the foyer (height of model, 0.95 m); A group of plaster maquettes displayed in the Musée d'Orsay's comprehensive exhibit about the Paris Opéra (Palais Garnier). Located at the end of the museum's central aisle in a space designed by Richard Peduzzi (a stage and set designer), the Opéra gallery presents all aspects of the monument, town planning, architecture and decoration.
