dc.description | Distant context view from park (only half of the long side is visible); Posten AB is the name of the Swedish postal service. It was operated as a government agency into the 1990s when it was transformed into a government-owned limited company. Some 1,600 employees work at the new Swedish Posten’s headquarters in Solna, outside Stockholm. The huge, glass building is nearly 60,000 sq. meters. The Swedish firm BSK Architects won the project in an international competition with the building they call "Think Tank." The 12-storey building is one of the largest in Sweden. The central hall entry space of the box-like glass building is three storeys high. Source: Wikipedia; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page (accessed 8/4/2013) | en_US |
