Overall view, looking down from the neighboring 2 IFC tower; At the time of its completion in 1972, Jardine House (formerly known as Connaught Centre) was the tallest building in Hong Kong and in Asia. Jardine Matheson Holdings Ltd. often referred to as Jardines, is a British conglomerate, and one of the original Hong Kong trading houses. The 52-storey building is constructed with a metal frame, and a curtain wall with round windows. The thickness of the structural frame is reduced because of the shape of the windows. P&T Group was first incorporated as Palmer & Turner in 1891. Source: Wikipedia; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page (accessed 7/19/2013)en_US
