Description
Detail, showing the division down the center between the mirrored and multicolored halves; Commissioned by the San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture and the Port’s Public Art Committee; it stands in a park area outside the San Diego Convention Center, near the intersection of Park Blvd. and Harbor Drive. The ceramic and mirror mosaic sculpture depicts a human face divided in half with one side mirrored and the other side multicolored. The two sides represent the duality of the self.
