Description
Vegetal forms of gate, forged and patinated stainless steel; Unveiled 6 July 1993 by Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen Elizabeth Gate and the Hyde Park Corner Screen are on the boundary of Hyde Park at Hyde Park Corner. The central screen is by David Wynne and the gates were designed by Giuseppe Lund, sculptor and architectural metalsmith. The six gates, railings and lamps are made from forged stainless steel and bronze. They are patinated; all coloring is from heat and natural oxides.
