Overall view of the memorial sculpture and inscription; The International Brigade Memorial Trust holds an annual commemorative ceremony at the International Brigades memorial at Jubilee Gardens on the South Bank in London. The sculpture features a large fallen figure, one hand raised in the clenched fist of the Republican salute, the other hand severed and missing, being supported by several smaller figures representing the many nations represented in the members of the International Brigades supporting Spain.
