dc.description | Overall view of the memorial in the name of Paul Voivenel, who acquired a cast of Héraklès Archer for Toulouse; The first design was commissioned by Gabriel Thomas in 1909. The second version was developed around 1923. It differed from the first version with additions of reliefs on the rock at right, representing the Hydra of Lerna and the Lion of Nemea. There are many casts and it was Bourdelle's best known work. In 1925, the city of Toulouse provided a Héraklès statue for its sports museum.
