detail, Baby Carriage, maker unknown, purchased in Baltimore, ca. 1908; black metal with bone-colored wood handle, black leather hood, padded interior. Hood, maker unknown, Maryland, 20th century; white muslin hood with eyeholes, faded red tassle, interfacing; used in Ku Klux Klan activities; found in attic in house in Towson; anonymous gift.
