Pyramid of the Sun, tight view along the base, from the southwest corner looking north; The construction of at least one major structure, the Temple or Pyramid of the Sun, is attributed to the first 150 years CE. Although less than half the height of the Great Pyramid of Giza, it has a base of about the same area (about 50,000 sq. m) and dominates the ceremonial centre.
