The South Stoa, view down what was the north flank (mid 4C BC - it is 80 meters long and has two colonnades, the outer is Doric and inner Corinthian - from it the officials and priest watched the procession); Excavations have shown that the embankment of the narrow western side of the stadium was truncated after the mid-4th century BCE, when the Echo Stoa was built, which entirely separated the stadium from the sanctuary.
