Description
View looking into the naos or chapel of the Temple of Sobek showing the niche in which the cult image of the god was kept; Theadelphia is the former Greek name for the city of Batn-Ihrît, 30 km NW of Medinet El-Faiyûm, site of seven temples during the Ptolemaic period.
