Description
Style B distinguished by its central plant compositions, specifically rosettes (but no arabesques and no stalks); no implication of growth, therefore considered 'anti-nautralistic'; spirally rolled up lines common pattern"The most frequent form of decoration was the stucco dado, and three styles were identified by Herzfeld (and revised by k. a. c. Creswell): Style A, a carved technique derived from earlier styles; Style B, a simplified cross-hatched style; and Style C, the Bevelled style, a moulded technique suitable for covering extensive wall surfaces (see fig. 3)."
