Description
Conceived by French architects to house the growing indigenous population of Casablanca, this neighborhood was built on land donated by a Jewish merchant, Haïm Bendahan to the administration of Habous endowments. It came out of the urban planning of Henri Prost in 1915 to accommodate the large numbers of North African immigrants into the city.
