dc.description.abstractThere are two independent questions that must be answered when choosing a switch operating mode: 1. Should the "set" and "reset" windings take part in the selection operation? 2. Should the "bias" drivers be gated? The tube counts indicate the "set" and "reset" windings should not take part in the selection operation. The duty factor requirements on the "bias" driver indicate the "bias" drivers should be gates. The experimental results obtained from two different operating modes show that the tube count should determine the operating mode.en_US
