Overall context view, outside library door of art museum, under the open portico; In a work reminiscent of Milles' work depicting Folke Filbyter, Saint Paul is shown at the moment he is struck blind on the road to Damascus and, as the horse rears, is about to fall. The terror of the situation is intensified by placing the horse and rider on a precariously small wedge of ground (the base of the statue). The statue is near the Folke Filbyter statue, next to the door of the library of the Cranbrook Art Museum.
