Overall view with frame; The tomb of William of Orange became a much-visited attraction from the moment it was completed in 1621. People like this family, a father, mother and two sons, all dressed in restrained, decorous black even had painters immortalize them standing next to the monument as evidence of their solidarity with the "Father of the Fatherland".
