Overall view from side; Photographed in the Rijksmuseum garden as part of the 22nd June 2013 - 29th September 2013 temporary exhibit, "Henry Moore Outside." The exhibition features 12 monumental works on loan from the Henry Moore Foundation (identified by the Foundation accession numbers). This work: Foundation number LH 758. Moore said of his "two piece" sculptures such as this one: "As you move round it, the two parts overlap or they open up and there's space between. Sculpture is like a journey. You have a different view as you return. The three-dimensional world is full of surprises in a way that a two-dimensional world could never be."
