Skyline of Buffalo from the west, depicting the City Hall at the left; Buffalo City Hall is the seat for local government in the City of Buffalo, New York State. Located at 65 Niagara Square, the 26 story Art Deco building was completed in 1931 by Dietel Wade & Jones. It is one of the largest and tallest municipal buildings in the United States of America and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The design was by John J. Wade. The friezes were sculpted by Albert Stewart and the sculpture done by Rene Paul Chambellan. Construction was by John W. Cowper Company.
