Chicago Club Building, general view of the front elevation; A private men's club, founded in 1869, ranked as one of the most influential in the US. Now open to women, original members were the important businessmen of the day; Field, Pullman, Lincoln, McCormick, and Blair. Interior photography (and all photographers) and members of the press are banned. There are 1,200 members and a rigorous selection process.
