View along the south elevation, looking northwest; "The second phase of the Wall Centre Hotel complex, the City's first "green" tower, and the tallest building in Vancouver. At the highest point of land in the downtown core and at a height of 137 meters (450 feet), the unique elliptical tower shape is a distinctive and elegant landmark on the city's skyline. Appropriate for Vancouver's first tower of the new Millennium, the building incorporates many technological innovations. The 48 storey tower is a combination of hotel space and private residential units. Hotel amenities include a ballroom, restaurant, meeting rooms, boardrooms, and a business centre. Universal access suites have special provisions for wheelchair and hearing impaired guests. These are just some of the features which make this a superlative location for conventions, meetings, and tourist visits in general. The private residential units in the upper floors are large and luxurious, filled with natural light and expansive views." Source: http://www.busby.ca/clients/9608wall/index.htm
